Introductions and purpose by Clifford Legodi
The visit started at 09:30 at Durbanville Conference Centre where the team took us in on a tour of the facilities and the menu items,
Lusizo asked about ventilation and if they can accommodate people with disabilities.
Deon , the venue has multiple rooms that sit 20 to 40 people maximum.
We have ventilation and emergency exit signs with an evacuation plan.
Lusizo asked about the kitchen and restrooms
Deon, we have three sets of bathrooms and security, we have parking and two kitchen where meals are prepared.
Lusizo what about Health and Safety.
Deon we are H&S compliant and all our staff follow procedures.
Lusizo requested to see the kitchen and – -Deon showed her and the team both kitchens.
The tour was concluded with Lusizo saying the will get feedback from SayPro if the venue is approved.
Durbanville Library
Clifford introduced the team to Monique and informed her that we are here to view the hall.
Monique requested fo the team to follow her to the hall and presented the kitchen and the hall.
Lusizo asked about the ventilation and air conditioning.
Monique informed her that the library is complaint and they have a wheelchair ramp.
The venue is self-catered for refreshments.
Lusizo requests that she be send complaint documents for the library for review.
Roadwork Cape Town
Madalyne introduced herself and showed us the room that hold 50 to 90 people: with a kitchen and a place for coffee and catering that is option.
Madalyne said that if we bring our own catering we pay a small fee for using the kitchen.
We also two rooms that hold 20 people that have screens and the company provides WiFi:
Lusizo asked that we check COIDA and send facilitator documents.
She also asked that we request Neftlay to join the meeting at least as he has signed the SLA.
