SayProSCSPR Request for Extension of Transportation for TVET Interns Residing in Tembisa

To the CEO of SayPro Neftaly Malatjie, the Chairperson of SayPro Mr Legodi, all Royal Committee Members/all SayPro Chiefs

I trust this message finds you well.

On behalf of the SayPro TVET Interns, I am writing to formally request an extension of transportation support for interns currently placed under our programme and residing in Tembisa.

We acknowledge the recent communication from SayProCMR advising all Tembisa-based Human Capital to relocate to Olievenhoutbosch, as transportation services to Tembisa will be discontinued effective 1 July 2025. While we understand the rationale behind this decision, we kindly appeal for continued transportation support for the affected interns until the conclusion of our internship period.

The interns have relied heavily on the provided transport services to access their workplaces safely and punctually. This support has been instrumental in reducing absenteeism, maintaining productivity, and supporting the overall success of the internship programme. Given the ongoing nature of the internships and the socioeconomic constraints many interns face, an immediate relocation may not be feasible for all.

We therefore respectfully request that transport services to and from Tembisa be extended until the official end date of the internship. This would ensure minimal disruption to the interns’ professional development and allow adequate time for personal relocation planning, where applicable.

We remain committed to cooperating with the SayProCMR to facilitate any administrative steps necessary to enable this extension. Please advise us of any required documentation or procedures.

Thank you for your continued dedication to supporting young people through skills development and workplace readiness initiatives.

    My message shall end here
